After a long battle that lasts a whole day and night, the SHAOLIN abbot MERCY defeats him. MOON comes to Shaolin to invite Mercy to her father’s 50th birthday ceremony. Moon often visits Shaolin with her father so she knows DRAGON and PRIDE very well. Pride begs to go with Dragon and Mercy finally agrees but on condition that Pride must pass the Shaolin test. Dragon and Pride accompany Moon back to her hometown only to find that her father has been killed. Moon begs the abbot to help her get revenge but he turns her down. Pride has had special feelings for Moon for a long time; he has worried about Moon’s safety so he stays with her. Pride returns to Shaolin to report the news of his engagement to the abbot. Mercy has always treated Pride as his own son. He has worried that Tiger and Phoenix would still want to harm Moon, so he decides to organize Pride’s wedding to Moon under Shaolin’s title. When Tiger learns that Moon is to become a Shaolin bride, he is outraged. Before Pride dies he tells Moon to forget about revenge.
